NICKERSON, Kan. — More tests are being conducted on the Nickerson city water system today to see if a boil water advisory can be lifted.
The advisory was put in place Friday after a water main ruptured near Nickerson High School Friday afternoon.
The line was repaired Friday. Tests on Saturday did not show enough chloride residuals in the system to lift the advisory. The hope is the test today will show better results.
