Shawn Alan Cox, 48, died January 30, 2024, at his home. He was born March 22, 1975, in Davenport, IA, to Robert David Cox and Vicki Lynn (Cothrell) Cox.
Shawn is survived by: his parents, Robert and Vicki Cox of Hutchinson, KS; maternal grandfather, Alan Cothrell of Hutchinson, KS; brother-in-law, Lee Ward of Hutchinson, KS; nephews, Sheldon Ward and Landon Ward of Hutchinson, KS; and niece, Kyla Ward of Hutchinson, KS.
He was preceded in death by: his sister, Tonya R. Ward; maternal grandmother, Dolores Cothrell; and paternal grandparents, Donald and Marie Cox.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
