FRANKLIN COUNTY —A truck driver from Kansas is under investigation for child sex crimes.

Christopher Thomas Taylor, 56, in being held on a $100,000 bond in the Hamlton County, Tennesse, jail on requested charges of solicitation of a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means.

He was recently extradited from Franklin County, Kansas to Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Police said Taylor thought he was texting with a 16-year-old girl. It was actually an undercover detective posing as a teen girl. Taylor said he wanted to meet the girl in a room he would rent and wanted the girl to bring another girl. The "girl" said she would bring her 12-year-old cousin.

According to court documents, Taylor sent a photo of his private area and asked the "girl" to do the same. He said he would pay up to $200 if both girls were involved.

Taylor is scheduled for a first court appearance on Wednesday, according to online jail records.
