Ora M. Henry, 100, died April 7, 2025, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. She was born January 3, 1925, in Hutchinson to Albert Harmon and Zetta Mae (Cosat) Frye.
Ora was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ and American Legion Lysle Rishel Post 68 Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, canning, making jellies, watching her grandsons and great-grandson play sports, going gambling with her daughter and especially loved talking on the phone with her friends and family.
Ora married Perry Andrew Henry in Moundridge, KS, in 1946. He died in 1978.
Ora is survived by: daughter, Betty Henry; grandsons, Todd and Jason (Stephani) Hadley; great-grandsons, Aiden Hadley and Hunter and Austin Hoagland; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Ora was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Jerry Hadley; and granddaughter-in-law, Holly Hadley.
Friends may sign the book Wednesday and Thursday 9 – 8 p.m. Visitation will be Thursday, April 10, 2025 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 – 7 p.m. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, at Eastwood Church of Christ with Pastor Bob Phipps presiding. Inurnment will be 9:00 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
