HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Community College athletic department announced on Tuesday that the football home opener against Ellsworth (Iowa) on Saturday, Sept. 2 will now kickoff at 11 a.m.
The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m., but has been moved up two hours due to the high temperatures scheduled.
No. 2 Hutchinson will open the season on Saturday in Corsicana, Texas against No. 11 Navarro College. The game will be broadcasted on Country 102.9-FM, the radio home for Blue Dragon athletics. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. with Countdown to Kickoff beginning at 6:30 p.m.
