NICKERSON, Kan. — One person was injured in a car/semi accident in Reno County Tuesday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that 18-year-old Josiah Watney of Sterling was going north on K-14 when he drifted left of center and was hit by a southbound semi driven by Phillip Williams of Wichita.
Watney was taken by EMS to Rice County District Hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries. Williams was not injured in the accident.
The accident happened around 9:20 a.m. five miles west of Nickerson.
