HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Strataca Underground Salt Museum announced Monday that it has been awarded the Tripadvisor Travelers Choice Award for being in the top 10% of attractions worldwide.
The prestigious recognition is given to attractions that offer an amazing experience to guests that provide stellar reviews on Tripadvisor over the past year.
“This is quite an impressive award that showcases the dedication that the staff has to uphold customer service to the highest regard,” Michael Ables, executive director, said. “However, I feel that our community is the true winner here. Our community has two amazing attractions and we (Strataca: Underground Salt Museum) are fortunate to share that stage with the Cosmosphere.”
The Cosmosphere was also awarded the Tripadvisor Choice Award in September.
The Travelers Choice Awards highlight the places that are consistently excellent, delivering quality experiences time and time again even while navigating changing customer expectations and new ways of working. The awards are based on a full year of reviews from customers.
