HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday that it will not hold its first legislative forum that was scheduled for Saturday.

The Chamber stated that area legislators were being impacted by the cold weather on their farms and ranches, and felt that it was proper to cancel the forum. The next legislative forum will be held on Saturday, March 13. A location for this event will be announced soon.

The forum will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. where Reno County legislators will answer questions about topics of interest here in Kansas. The Reno County legislators invited to participate are Sen. Mark Steffen, Rep. Joe Seiwert, Rep. Paul Waggoner, Rep. Jason Probst, and Rep. Michael Murphy.

The forum is presented by AT&T with supporting sponsorship from Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System and organized by the Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee.
