KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement investigating the death of two people at a Kansas City home have identified the victims as as 41-year-old Anna Davis and 41-year-old Darren Davis, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
The case is now being investigated as an apparent double suicide., according to Becchina.
Just after 8:30p.m. Wednesday, police were dispatched to the 1200 block of NE 83rd Terrace, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino. As officers arrived they were directed inside a residence where hey located Darren Davis and Anna Davis both suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers also located a juvenile boy with an unknown injury.
The child was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Both the Darren and Anna Davis were pronounced deceased at the scene. Detectives are working to determine what led up to the incident. Police have not provided an update on the condition of the boy.
