The boutique is , Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Jessica Keast opened up Wildflower Boutique with her family in the Uptown Hutch Mall on May 5. However, her business has operated downtown on 16 N. Main St since late October.
Keast said she and her family eventually wanted to move their business downtown but they didn't think it would happen in a matter of months.
"I enjoy being down here," said Keast."It's a lot more lively down here. There's a lot going on. A lot of events and activities that seem to be happening down here that don't happen out there."
Keast said a lot of adjustments needed to be made for Wildflower's new space because the previous location in the mall was set up specifically for a clothing store.
"Coming into here it was almost like a blank canvas and we had to start from scratch and just use our imagination on how we wanted to try and make everything work for our vision on everything," Keast said. "We still have a few things we still want to tweak a little bit. We are just trying to get through the holiday season at this point."
Now that Keast store is set up downtown, she said she would like to make some tweaks to the store set up but for now, it's all about Wildflower gearing up for the boutique's first Christmas season.
"We are super excited for the holiday season," Keast said. "We are offering free gift wrapping and gift cards for men who are needing something for the wife and don't know their sizes and we can have a gift card wrapped and ready to go and delivered out to there car.
Wildflower Boutique offers clothing sizes Small through 3X. The boutique is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
