Jacob Robert Floyd Perry, of Hutchinson, died June 26, 2023, at his home, in Hutchinson. He was born June 28, 1996, in Hutchinson, to Dena Conner.
Jacob was a brilliant young man. His family called him their ‘IT’ guy. He would frequently work on and fix computers and various other electronics. When Jacob wasn’t fixing computers, he enjoyed reading fantasy books, and playing with his nieces and nephews. He liked playing with his cat, Jiji, and his sister’s two black labs. Jacob had a passion for Sci-Fi, including, robotics, watching Star Wars, Star Trek, and Dr. Who. He loved to ride his bicycle. Most of all, Jacob always wanted to help people, no matter what the task was. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle, and cousin.
Jacob is survived by: his mother, Dena (Ronnie Taylor) Conner of Hutchinson; sister, Gena Gonzales of Hutchinson; brother, Josh Perry of Ohio; aunts, Josie (David Planthold) Thompson and Sarah (Aaron) Voran both of Hutchinson; uncles, Andre (Wendy) Pristach of Tennessee, LeRoy (Jennifer) De La Rosa of California, and John Lundy; nephew, Dante Gonzales of Hutchinson; nieces, Emilee Fowler, Jadyn Fowler, and Ashlyn Gonzales, all of Hutchinson; cousins, Sage Guara, Riley Voran, Lillie Voran, Flynne Planthold, Kira Thompson, Corbin Thompson, Lea Thompson, Emma Pristach, Brendan Pristach, Dania (Josh) Markum, J.T. Lundy, Brett Lundy, and Shane Lundy; and his beloved cat, Jiji, of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenny Conner; grandmother, Jane De La Rosa; and aunt, Cyndi Lundy.
Cremation has taken place.
