
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Monarchs home opener for the 2023 summer scheduled for tonight, June 6th, has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Hobart-Detter Field.
The Monarchs were scheduled to host the Wichita Black Sox at 7 p.m. The team has yet to play a game this summer, as the first two exhibition games over the weekend were cancelled due to weather in Kingman.
If all goes as planned, the Monarchs will officially open up their season on Thursday in Great Bend against the Bat Cats. The Monarchs will now have it's home opener on Saturday against the Bat Cats with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m.
All home games will be live streamed with video and audio on Hutch Post.
