Hutchinson Police Department
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — During the Thanksgiving Safe Arrival traffic enforcement campaign just completed the Hutchinson Police Department conducted overtime patrols to locate unrestrained drivers, while upholding all Kansas traffic laws.
Over the period, November 18th- 26th, officers wrote 27 adult / teen safety belt citations, along with 19 other citations and 1 arrest for driving while suspended.
All told, officers made 76 traffic stops during the campaign.
While this campaign may be over, Hutchinson police will always be vigilant in their enforcement of Kansas traffic safety laws. Buckle up because it saves lives.
