NICKERSON, Kan. — Nickerson USD 309 will offer free summer meals to all children ages 1-18 again this year.
The district will offer drive-thru pickup of a hot lunch, with breakfast for the next day, at Nickerson Elementary School and South Hutchinson Elementary School from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. starting May 31 and running through July 29.
The Nickerson Elementary site will operate Monday through Thursday. There will be no meal service on Fridays. South Hutchinson Elementary will operate Monday through Friday. Parents will be given a card at their first visit providing the number of meals they can receive each day.
Both sites will serve meals from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
