HARVEY COUNTY — Coupon booklets will be available Friday for the Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
The booklets make fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs more accessible for Harvey County residents 60 and older that meet income requirements.
Caregivers can also apply for a booklet by proxy for those they care for through the Department on Aging (316-284-6880).
Booklets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Newton Recreation Commission on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If there are remaining booklets after this, please contact the Department on Aging to request one.
Reno County booklets become available June 18.
