MCPHERSON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 10:30 a.m. Friday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Kia Sportage driven by Teresa Woker, 47, Park City, was southbound on 27th Avenue at U.S. 56 in the city of Canton.
The driver failed to yield the right of way to an eastbound 2012 Freightliner semi driven by Lori Augustine, 60, Glen Elder.
The semi struck the Kia on the passenger side. EMS transported Woker to the hospital in McPherson. Augustine was not injured. The KHP had incomplete seat belt usage information.
