HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Interfaith Housing Home for the Holidays event is Saturday.

"This is our seventh annual Home for the Holidays," said Lacy Stauffacher with Interfaith Housing. "They will see our warehouse turned into an old Christmas tree farm. We have Christmas trees that have been donated to us that are beautifully decorated. Currently, we have, Hutchinson Police Department was first on the scene with a tent tree. It is the most adorable tent tree you'll ever see, followed by the Hutchinson Fire Department. They put a gorgeous Fire tree up."

The warehouse at 1326 East Ave. A will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

"We'll have gift baskets," Stauffacher said. "Santa Claus will be there. There is activities for kids. We'll have a DJ. It's just really, really a great way to see where Interfaith does a lot of their work from."

Donations are welcome, big or small.

"We have a variety of different options on how to donate to the event," Stauffacher said. "You can donate a fully decorated Christmas tree or a gift basket of your choice. We usually have around 80 different companies and community services that donate to us."
