Gary L. Stecklein, 79, of Hutchinson, died June 9, 2024, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. He was born June 21, 1944, in Hays, to Frank and Josephine (Legleiter) Stecklein.&nbsp;

Gary graduated from St. Teresa Catholic High School, in 1963. He served the country by joining the United States Navy and aided in the Vietnam War. Gary spent most of his life working in the produce department for Dillons, where he ultimately retired from. He enjoyed a simple life and preferred to keep to himself.&nbsp;

Gary is survived by brother, Dan (Gail) Stecklein, and nephew, Dan Stecklein, Jr.&nbsp;

He was proceeded in death by his parents.&nbsp;

Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at a later date.&nbsp;
