
RENO COUNTY, Kan. — Three Reno County community organizations recently benefited from Envista Credit Union’s EnvistaCares Challenge.
Each month the EnvistaCares Challenge provides one local organization a one-month media package valued at $12,000 to share their story and ask local communities for support.
The Reno County community gave a total of $86,886 to United Way of Reno County and Envista matched $2,500, providing United Way of Reno County with a total of $89,386.
A total of $20,000 went to BrightHouse and Envista matched $2,500, providing BrightHouse with a total of $22,500.
Then a total of $13,833 went to Interfaith Housing and Community Services, Inc. and Envista matched $2,500, providing Interfaith Housing and Community Services with a total of $16,333.
The EnvistaCares Challenge gift is a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $2,500.
The videos created with the EnvistaCares Challenge media package by the United Way of Reno County, BrightHouse, and Interfaith Housing can be found on Envista Credit Union’s Youtube channel.
During 2022, communities gave $168,482 to 14 different organizations to secure the EnvistaCares Challenge match of $2,500 for each organization. In total, $203,482 was raised in 2022 to help local organizations.
“Our goal at Envista is to make an impact with our giving,” Ashley Esquibel, Chief Administrative Officer at Envista, said. “It’s incredible to hear about the work being done by these organizations and then see the outpouring of support they receive during the EnvistaCares Challenge. We can’t thank our community enough for joining us in providing funds to these vital programs.”
Since 2019, the EnvistaCares Challenge has supported more than 40 local organizations and helped raise nearly $670,000.
