Sheriff's K9 unit ruined the weekend for 2 Kansas men

OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on drug allegations.

Just after 4p.m. June 12, An Osage County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Market Street in Osage City for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.

During the stop, a K-9 was deployed and narcotics were located. Two subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility.

David A. Cannon, 41 and Jacob W. Whitmore 43, both of Osage City are being held on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine and Possession of drug paraphernalia
