RENO COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Ford F150 driven by Eric Mickel Hoffman, 69, Sterling, was northbound on Kansas 14 just north of 56th Avenue passing a semi.
The pickup struck a southbound 2007 Kia Rio driven by Steven John Payton, 25, Alden, head-on.
EMS transported Hoffman and Payton to Hutchison Regional Medical Center. Hoffman was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
