MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. — Moundridge will be part of the National Community Night Out, but the date is going to change. The event was originally scheduled for Aug. 24th, but with the Excessive Heat Warning continuing through Friday, they are looking for a new date.
The annual event is a community-building campaign to help promote community partnerships. Police, Fire, EMS, and Utility vehicles and equipment will be on display for the public to see.
Activities, once a new date is set, will begin at 6 p.m. at Wheatridge Park. Community organizations are encouraged to contact the Moundridge Chamber if they would like to set up a booth and share their information with the community.
