HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Public Works wants to remind motorists that W. 5th Ave. is now closed at the Harsha Canal Bridge for an extended period of time so that repairs can be made to the bridge.
The street is closed between Van Buren and Whiteside Streets except to local traffic. Motorists can detour from 5th by going over to W 4th Avenue from either Hendricks or Van Buren.
The closure is expected to last three months.
