RICE COUNTY— A man from Little River was injured in an accident just after 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Harley Davidson driven by 42-year-old Jose R. Aragon-Dominguez of Little River was eastbound on U.S. 56 when the motorcycle struck a deer in the roadway.
The motorcycle overturned, entered the westbound lane and came to rest in the north ditch.
EMS transported Aragon-Dominguez to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He had a windshield on his motorcycle and was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
