RENO COUNTY — The Planning Commission has set a public hearing for 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Reno County Public Works Facility, 600 Scott Blvd., South Hutchinson. All interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearing.
At the above time and place, the Reno County Planning Commission will consider Case Number 2023-10, a request by the Reno County Planning Commission for a series of text amendments to the April 2016 Edition of the Reno County Zoning Regulations.
The amendments consist of the following:
Amending the Table of Contents page by adding Article 25, Solar Energy Systems Regulations. Table of Contents
Creating Article 15-105(14A) in its entirety which requires a conditional use permit to establish a commercial solar energy system and subject to the provisions of Article 25. Article 15 - Conditional Uses
Creating Article 25 in its entirety pertaining to private and commercial solar energy systems regulations. Draft - Solar Regulations

The public hearing, once commenced, may be continued by the Planning Commission to a later date and time if deemed necessary. If it is necessary, that later date will most likely be Monday, Nov. 13.
