Five people arrested on potential drug charges

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Police searching for a person wanted on a warrant ended up arresting five people on numerous drug charges Monday night.

Hutchinson Police spotted 22-year-old Darianne Frischenmeyer parked in the 600 block of N. Maple around 9:15 p.m. She was arrested on suspicion of drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and a tax stamp violation. Her bond was set at $64,500.

Police also took 47-year-old Steve Releford, 29-year-old Mary Maschek, 45-year-old Joseph Gilmore and 27-year-old Cheyanne Fors into custody for possession with intent to distribute and other related drug charges. Gilmore also faces potential charges of possession of a stolen firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.

Bond for Releford and Maschek was set at $24,500, bond for Gilmore is $16,500 and the bond for Fors was set at $13,500.
