HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Joint Session with the Reno County Commission and Hutchinson City Council was held Tuesday in Fountain Hall at the Reno County Correctional Facility.
During the Joint Session, discussion items included a presentation by Reno County Sheriff Darrian Campbell who gave an update on the shooting range. He also spoke to commissioners and council members about law enforcement collaboration and projects.
Kevin Irwin, Director of Hutchinson - Reno County Emergency Communications, gave an update on 911 Dispatch and his first 90 days as director.
Pieter Miller, Airport Manager at Hutchinson Regional Airport, talked about the airport operations and future plans.
Members talked about working together on projects and keeping communication open between the two groups.
No action was taken by either body on Tuesday at the joint meeting. Any policy decisions will be made in future public meetings.
