HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson’s Salthawk 4-year-old Preschool is now accepting pre-enrollment applications for the 2021-22 school year. A free program for USD 308 families, children must be 4 on or before August 31, 2021 to be eligible.
The district provides a full day program that lasts from 7:55 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. USD 308 will provide busing to and from school within the USD 308 district boundaries at no charge. Students will be served breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.
Parents can fill out pre-enrollment information online by clicking on https://forms.gle/TYajykR3FgfitvJG9 or they can come in person to a walk-in application clinic or call 620-615-4950 to schedule an appointment.
Walk-in application clinics will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on February 16, March 9, April 13, May 4, May 18 and May 27. The clinics will take place at Avenue A School at 111 South Madison. Final enrollment will take place in early August.
Families who have completed pre-enrollment paperwork and meet our program criteria, will have a “slot” reserved for their child. Out-of-district students will be placed on a waiting list and accepted on a case-by-case basis as space allows.
