Cherri Koehn, 70, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Cherri was born on May 13, 1953, in Kansas City, KS. She graduated from McPherson High School in 1971.
On September 25, 1976, Cherri was united in marriage to Frank Koehn in McPherson, KS. This union was blessed with two sons: Trevor and Trenton.
Cherri had a large collection of angel figurines, enjoyed making homemade jewelry, adult coloring books, computer puzzle games and, most of all, visiting and loving people without complaining or a sense of judgment. She was a member of Harmony Christian Church in McPherson, KS.
Survivors include: two children, Trevor Koehn of McPherson, KS, and his wife Alyssa Drury Koehn and their two daughters Clair and Evelyn; and Trenton Koehn of McPherson, KS.; Sisters: Jerilynn Nickel and her extended family; Donna Bartel and extended family; and Brenda Banman and her extended family.
Cherri and her husband, Frank, had many discussions about medical decisions and funerals. When the time neared for her to enter into the new life, Cherri did not want a funeral or burial but to be cremated. If you would have asked her why, she would have said, “Don’t think of my passing on, but rather celebrate life, starting now!”
