KANSAS CITY—A person injured in an accident that occurred just before 10 a.m. Wednesday in Kansas City has died.
According to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez, a blue Dodge Dart was westbound on Interstate 70 and swerved into the impact attenuator to northbound US 71 Highway.
EMS transported the driver and sole occupant to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. On Friday, Officer Gonzalez reported the driver died. Police did not release the name of the driver or additional details.
