JOHNSON COUNTY — One person was injured in a fire on Thanksgiving Day in Overland Park.
The fire occurred at the at Georgetown Apartments, 72nd and Frontage Road in Merriam, according to a social media report from the Overland Park Fire Department.
EMS transported one person to the hospital with smoke inhalation from the fire. One dog was also missing. The fire was contained to the unit where it started. Residents of 9 units were displaced. Authorities did not release details on the cause of the fire.
