Linda Gayle Albright, 73, died March 24, 2025, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, in Wichita. She was born February 22, 1952, in Hutchinson, to Wilbert and Marion (Thompson) Pruitt.
Linda graduated from Trinity Catholic High School in 1970. She worked at Collins Bus Corporation for almost 40 years before she retired. She was a member of Church of the Holy Cross and was active in the Altar Society.
On April 14, 1972, Linda married Allen Dale Albright, in Hutchinson. He died July 12, 2015.
She is survived by: her son, Rex Albright (Amy) of Hutchinson; daughter, Cherry Bishop (Dru) of Mansfield, TX; grandchildren, Kaleb Albright (Halie), Kennedi Albright, Kade Albright; nine step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Anita Wedel of Lyons, Thelma Warta of Geneseo; brothers-in-law, Carey Irvin and Elliott Irvin of Harper; and many extended family members.
Linda was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; sisters, Theresa Skinner, Barbara Deckard, Mary Ann Dick, Betty Anderson; brother, Donald Pruitt; and daughter-in-law, Jeni Albright.
Parish Rosary will be 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2025, both at Church of the Holy Cross, 2631 Independence Rd., Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Lone Star Cemetery, Pretty Prairie.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
