HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Cosmosphere announced on May 8, they are joining museums from across the U.S this summer, in the Blue Star Museum Initiative. The Blue Star Museum Initiative is a program which provides free admission to currently-serving U.S. Military personnel and their families.
This year, the program will begin on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20, and will end on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4.
“Cosmosphere is grateful for the service of these men and women and proud to welcome them and their families to experience our Hall of Space Museum,” Mimi Meredith, the Cosmosphere’s Senior Vice President of Communication and Chief Development Officer, said.
The free admission program is available to those currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and up to five family members. Qualifying members must show proper identification for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.
