
Marilyn Kaye Miller, 84, was welcomed home to Heaven, to be with the Lord, whom she loved dearly, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Marilyn was born on Sunday, June 15, 1941 in Junction City, Kansas to Luther Truman and Ida Juanita (Fox) Stone. Marilyn was united in marriage to Frank Edmond Miller IV on May 2, 1959. They were married for 61 years until Frank's passing in 2021. Marilyn was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She served with her Pastor Husband, Frank in several churches, being a self-taught pianist. Playing for church services, choir specials music, Christmas cantatas, and as a solo accompanist. This work took them to many cities in Kansas, including Udall, Anthony, Hutchinson, and Augusta. Marilyn worked many jobs throughout her life. One of the most recent was working at the Andover Pizza Hut, where she retired from after 10 years. Marilyn was an avid crocheter of blankets and Afghans which she gave as gifts to numerous people as a ministry of love. She was very creative with craft projects and sewing, making her own wedding dress and many clothes for her family. Marilyn is survived by her children, Jason (Sue Anna) Miller, Mary (Dale) Wendler, Doris Miller, and Amy (Chris) Castor; grandchildren, James, Sara, Luke, Kimberly, Kathy, Thomas, Benjamin, Robert, Christian, and Colby; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Stone (Marvin); and sister-in-law, Judy Miller (Gayland). Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank IV; son, Frank Edmond Miller V; brother, William "Luther" Stone; and brother, Marvin Stone. Family held Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 30th at the First Church of the Nazarene in Augusta, Kansas at 11:00 a.m.
