LINDSBORG, Kan. — Celebrate Independence Day in Lindsborg with good, old-fashioned fun! Lindsborg's Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration at Swensson Park is free and open to the public.
All ages are invited to meet at the gazebo on the 400 block of North Main Street at 5:00 p.m. to decorate strollers, wagons, bikes, or yourself, then march through the park.
The entertainment will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will include community talent and the community band performance.
While there is limited bleacher seating available, you're encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Businesses will have special hours during this day along with store specials and drawings at participating businesses. Bring your receipts from purchases to be entered into a firework gift basket drawing from Hefner Family Fireworks! The drawing will take place at 4:00 p.m.
