
Clarence C. Roynon, 90, of Hutchinson, died December 19, 2024, at his home. He was born May 10, 1934, in Compton, California, to Carl and Viola (Helfer) Roynon.
Clarence proudly supported the country and was a United States Merchant Marine. He worked for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corporation. Clarence went on to retire from Hutchinson Bag Factory (Hubco Inc).
He married Janet Phipps in December of 1978. They shared nearly 46 years of marriage before her death on November 2, 2024.
Clarence liked flying remote-control planes. He had good manual dexterity and enjoyed wood working as a hobby. Clarence was able to construct many items with great detail.
Clarence is survived by: daughter, Linda Elliott of Virginia; son, Carl Roynon of Hutchinson; step-daughter, Lesa Ortiz of Plevna; brother, Keith Roynon of California; grandchildren, Matthew, Keely, CJ, RJ, Wendy, James, Gloria, and Jon; 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Janet Roynon; and son, Randy Roynon.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
