HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Test your superhero powers 650 feet below ground with the Smallville 5K at Strataca on Saturday, June 17.
The registration fee is $55 until June 11 and $60 from June 12 to 16. Because of the unique nature of the race, you need to register in advance.
This unique race experience takes place in the underground salt museum, Strataca.
Participants will be released in waves every 15 minutes starting at 8 a.m.
Each wave is first come, first served and is limited to 30 participants each.
Organizers will combine wave times if needed and participants will be emailed prior to race day.
If you plan to register as a walker, you must sign up for a wave time between 8-9:30 a.m.
Participants will need to bring and wear their own helmets during the event. Bike helmets are suggested. They must also bring a headlamp or flashlight. This race is a fundraiser for Strataca.
All race registrations are final. There are no refunds.
