Judy (Smith) Guffey, 82, of Hutchinson, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on October 8, 2026. She was born October 24, 1943, in Hutchinson, to Wayne and Pearl (Browning) Smith.
Judy retired from Cessna/Eaton after 31 years of service.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Utterback and Pamela Barnes; son, Jon Spencer, all of Hutchinson; sister, Rose Lingle of Anaheim, CA; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Guffey; sister, Alma Arnold; brothers, Charles and John Smith; and granddaughter, Ashley First.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2026. at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christian Soup Ministry, Inc. or Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
