
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan.—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations. Just before 7:30p.m. July 8, a Sheriff's Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2025 Chevy Malibu for a traffic infraction on 150th Road near Q. Road in rural Jackson County according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The investigation into the traffic stop led to the discovery of illegal drug contraband.
Vonda Jewell Lacour , 63, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges that include possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
