NJCAA D1 Volleyball semifinalists set

HUTCHINSON, Kan.—The 2021 edition of the NJCAA D1 Women's Volleyball Championship final four is set after an exciting day of competition on Friday.

Only one of the top seeds remain as #1 seeded Blinn, Texas was swept by the NJCAA D1 defending champion Iowa Western 3-0 in the late match on Friday night. 

The Region VI Kansas representative Butler swept Snow College 3-0. Butler also swept Wallace State to earn the right to match up against Snow in their opening match of the tournament. Butler is seeded #2 in this years tournament and is their first time to the National Championship.

The other two teams to reach the semifinals are Missouri State-West Plains and New Mexico Military.  West Plains swept Central Wyoming and the #4 seed Florida Southwestern to earn the right to play Iowa Western tonight at 6:30pm at the Sports Arena.

New Mexico Military will play Butler Community College on court 2 at 6:30pm.
