
Bradley Lynn Lofland, 69, passed away September 28, 2025, at Roper St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina.
He was born January 25, 1956, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Charles and Janet Lofland. He graduated from Greeley High School in Greeley, Colorado, in 1974.
Brad served honorably in the United States Navy from March 17, 1977, to February 27, 1983, as a Medic at the Navy Hospital in Charleston, SC. Following his military service, he continued his life of service as a Senior Paramedic with Berkeley County EMS, Charleston County EMS, and later with Roper Life Link from which he retired in May 2022.
Brad had a deep love for life and a wide array of interests. He enjoyed woodworking, cycling, racquetball and tennis, traveling to both familiar and new destinations, and was an avid lover of music, movies, and books. He used his life and career not only to save lives but to touch and change them. Brad’s dedication, compassion, and care will be remembered by all who knew him.
Brad is survived by his: children, Brian A. Lofland of Houston, Texas, and Sarah E. Lofland of Barboursville, West Virginia; their sister, Rebecca Harmon of Tempe, Arizona; their mother, Libby Harmon of Charleston, SC; beloved granddaughter, Abigail Johnisee of Charleston, SC; and his sisters, Cheryl Proffitt of Haven, Kansas, and Belinda Taylor and her husband, Allan, of Topeka, Kansas, along with their families.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Haven Baptist Church, 502 E. 4th St, Haven, KS, followed by inurnment at Laurel Cemetery.
