HUTCHINSON Kan. — ADM maintained its positive upward trend through the second quarter as the oil seed company released its quarterly earnings report.
The company reported adjusted earnings of $1.33 per share. ADM also reported operating profit of $1.1 billion compared with $813 million in 2020, as the company saw growth in every business segment. Total earnings were $754 million.
The numbers reflect a continued rebound for ADM coming out of the pandemic driven economy of 2020.
ADM operates five elevators in Hutchinson and employs around 60 workers and has the 12th assessed value in Reno County at over $2.3 million.
