HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Family Community Theatre is ready to present Clue this weekend in Hutchinson.
"Clue, the play, is based on the movie, which is based on the board game," said director Chelsey Juenemann. "The movie came out in the 1980s and it's your classic whodunit murder mystery. You have all the guests that come to Boddy Manor and lots of deaths are happening."
Wadsworth was played by Tim Curry in the film adaptation. FCT has their own Tim playing him in Hutchinson, Tim Haas.
"Wadsworth is the British butler," Haas said. "Kind of runs the show throughout the entire play, keeping the guests on their toes and walking everybody through the murder mystery, sort of just keeping everything on the go."
This play has an all adult cast, but the kids will love it, too.
"We keep it family friendly, even with the murder mystery going on," Juenemann said. "The show will last approximately two hours with a 15-minute intermission."
The curtain goes up Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Flag Theatre at 310 North Main in Hutchinson.
Tickets are available at Absolutely Home, Bookends Book Store at www.familycommunitytheater.org or at the Flag Theatre 1 hour prior to the show.
