HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Those wanting to learn more about developing entrepreneurial skills will have that opportunity with a special course for entrepreneurship and business.
StartUp Hutch and Network Kansas will hold a special class entitled "How to Think Like an Entrepreneur." The program will combine classroom presentations with video interviews and case studies featuring modern-day examples of entrepreneurs who have triumphed over adversity by embracing an entrepreneurial mindset.
The five-week in-person course is provided by Kansas Ice House Entrepreneurship Program. Participants can expect to learn critical thinking skills, practice effective communication, and challenge their problem-solving muscles as a part of this course. Each lesson includes discussion topics and assignments that encourage real-world application of the concepts. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.
This course will begin Tuesday, July 27, from 6 – 9 p.m. at Hutchinson Community College in the Peel Center Room 114 until Tuesday, Aug. 24. The registration fee is $100 with a $50 rebate upon course completion. A light meal will be served each week at 5:45 p.m.
