
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Monarchs have a new coach.
Casey Lippoldt will be taking the reins for the team's 15th year. Casey has been coaching since 2009, where he started with the American Legion in Pratt, KS. and was a student assistant coach at Emporia state University.
He has coached at El Dorado, KS high school & with the Derby Twins. He played his final two summers of collegiate baseball with the Hutchinson Monarchs. Casey & his wife Tiffany have two sons.
The new assistant coach is Ryan Pinkall. He is a Kansas native, originally from Pratt. Ryan played at Friends University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science. He also played and coached with Casey Lippoldt in the American Legion League. Ryan currently is a Biology instructor at Hutchinson Community College. He also officiates football for the MIAA. Ryan is looking forward to a great first season and getting back on the field with Casey.
Monarch owners Kim and Mark Blackim said in a social media post, "We are excited to see where Casey & Ryan can take this team in 2023."
