SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The South Hutchinson Freedom Fest is Saturday. The schedule of events is below. The events are at Lionette Field at 101 West Ave C.
South Hutchinson City Administrator Jeff Schenk hopes the event can help neighbors celebrate together.
"We did feel like there's a lot of disconnect, and that's one thing that I found is really important," Schenk said. "I feel like that's starting to come back was bringing back that feeling of community and getting a chance for everybody to get out and meet people and meet the businesses and the business owners and everybody to just have a chance to sit down and have a conversation."
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Street closure information will be available on Facebook.
