KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a deadly shooting that occurred just before 9:30p.m. Thursday have identified the victims as 17-year-old DaMarcus Houston and 26-year-old Marquise L. Rose.
According to Sheriff Daryl Forte', first responders found the victims at 42nd and Sterling in Kansas City.
The teen was pronounced deceased at the scene. EMS transported the 26-year-old to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
A private vehicle transported a third victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not reported an arrest but have identified those involved and are no longer searching for additional suspects, according to KCPD.
