NEWTON, Kan. — The new Starbucks on the south end of Newton at 1609 South Kansas will open later this month.
According to the weekly update from Newton City Manager Kelly McElroy, a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy was issued to Starbucks last week. Their public opening is now slated for Feb. 27.
The real estate housing the store is still for sale, according to a listing from Commercial Investment Advisors. The building, with Starbucks as the tenant, is priced at nearly $2.2 million.
