Deputies arrested one person near the designated free-speech area for willfully failing or refusing to comply with a lawful order or direction of a police officer or firefighter authorized to regulate traffic, in violation of K.S.A. 8-1503. She was identified as 49-year-old Dana D. Moore of Wichita, according to online booking records. She met the requirement for bond and is no longer in custody.

About 70 local law enforcement personnel supported Secret Service staff and worked to maintain safety at the arena and in the surrounding area. The Wichita Police Department’s Mounted Unit and K-9 Unit also supported the coordinated effort, which focused on protecting attendees, community members, motorists, and event staff.

Thousands of people traveled from across Kansas for the event. Sedgwick County Fire District No. 1 reported that approximately 6,000 people entered the arena, while several hundred more gathered outside the venue.
