HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Grace Episcopal Church in Hutchinson is inviting artists to create a piece that tells the story of Jesus’ last days and crucifixion to be displayed during the Lenten season in early 2025.

A special exhibit opening will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the church, where the public will be invited to see the art and enjoy wine and cheese. The art will then be moved into the sanctuary to serve as focal points during Stations of the Cross, which are special services held each Friday evening at the church. Again, the public will be invited. The art will be exhibited until Lent comes to a close on April 20th.

The deadline to register your intention to participate is Saturday, August 31, 2024. The deadline to deliver the ready-to-display art to Grace Episcopal Church and to provide your brief biography and written reflection is Friday, February 7, 2025.
